Today, on 11 February 2026, a working meeting was held between the leadership of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic, Ms. Antje Grawe, along with the Assistant to the Resident Coordinator, Mr. Henning Wick.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues and prospective areas of cooperation in the fields of religious policy, interethnic relations, and the strengthening of social cohesion. Particular attention was given to the promotion of civic identity, the prevention of potential conflict risks, as well as the development of dialogue and partnership with international organizations.
Representatives of the National Agency provided information on priority areas of activity, ongoing initiatives, and measures aimed at ensuring social stability, strengthening interfaith harmony, and harmonizing interethnic relations.
In turn, representatives of the United Nations system confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation and to support the efforts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the areas of sustainable development, social inclusiveness, and peacebuilding.
