On 6 April 2019, as part of the development and strengthening of interfaith relations, the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCRA KR) held a community cleanup day with the participation of religious organizations.
The purpose of the event is to mobilize resources of state and public organizations to improve social infrastructure, sanitary condition of urban facilities, landscaping, cleaning and improvement of the country.
Participants of the event planted seedlings and cleaned the territory of the Togolok Moldo Park in Bishkek. Zaiyrbek Ergeshov, Director of the SCRA KR expressed gratitude to those who supported this initiative.
The event was held in partnership with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Programme Office in Bishkek and the Representative Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR).
The event was attended by the management and staff of the SCRA KR, CSRS under the SCRA KR, OSCE, IWPR and representatives of religious organizations.
